Pack Your Crafty Bags! A Sweet Suitcase Treat Box Adventure
I’m absolutely loving this fun little project I whipped up using our Suitcase Treat Boxes and the super-cute On the Go Designer Series Paper. If you’ve got a traveler’s heart or you’re dreaming of your next getaway (Stampin’ Up! incentive trip, anyone?), this sweet suitcase project is just the thing to get your creativity moving.
What I Used:
- Suitcase Treat Box – These sturdy, pre-scored boxes come together quickly and have that fun little handle—perfect for gifting!
- On the Go DSP – I mean, how fun is this travel-themed paper? Keys, tassels, tags, and bright, bold colors make it perfect for layering and playing.
- Tags & Embellishments – I created a layered tag with a little message: “Life’s detours are better with you.” Then I added texture with twine, ribbon scraps, a faux key, and a couple of playful embellishments.
Tips & Tricks:
- Use Tear & Tape to secure your DSP to the box—it holds like a dream.
- Don’t be afraid to mix textures. I used pink twine, chunky blue twine, and ribbon scraps to give the handle extra flair.
- Tag layering gives dimension and makes the project pop. Tuck in a faux key or charm to complete the traveler vibe.
