It’s all about the Birds…

First, it was about the birdhouse card! I made this card a few weeks ago and it was love at first sight. Oh my goodness- how fun was this to make! I used layers of die cuts to create the bird house , leaves and flowers. Then, I added the flower stamps and embellishments to the card and watched it come to life. Last but not least- the bird. Be still my heart. The bird made me melt and he was the most fun to color. I love everything about this Country Woods Suite. Check out materials used to make this card on my blog!

Next were the birdhouse notecards that we made at my open house. Oh, more cuteness. I can hardly stand it. These notecards are perfect for any occasion. Check out supplies used for the notecards here.

Last, but certainly not least- The Birdhouse Box! This darling box holds four Hershey Nuggets perfectly. These birdhouse boxes are the perfect party favors for birthdays, afternoon teas, bridal showers, garden shows, etc. The possibilities are endless. They are so cute and so fun to make. Here is how you make them:

  • Die cut he birdhouse pieces out of different papers and mix and match the pieces until you have a perfect house.
  • Next make the box according to the pattern (see below). Glue the box together.
  • Attach the birdhouse front and back of the box.
  • Fill with nuggets, and wow- you. have made a fantastic project. FUN, FUN, FUN!

Here are some photos of the side and back of box.
