I’ve been on a candy-bar-holder kick lately — and I’m not stopping anytime soon! These little wrappers are so much fun to make and even more fun to give. Whether you’re gifting them for Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, they’re the perfect mix of creativity and chocolate.
In my latest YouTube video, I share two different designs:
✨ A simple sleeve-style holder that you can whip up in minutes.
💌 And a stepped-up version — perfect for stamping a sentiment or tucking in a secret message.
You can use any paper and stamp set to fit the season. I’ve made mine for all the fall occasions — spooky, thankful, and merry! 🎃🍁🎄
Let’s take a look at some of the different holders I have made!
🎥 Watch the full video here: You’ll find step-by-step instructions, measurements, and all my tips for creating these cuties.
As promised here are the dimensions:
Cardstock Base: 6” × 5½”
- Score on the 6” side at ½”, 2¾”, 3¼”, and 5½”
- Rotate so the 5½” side is across the top and score at 1½”
Assembly
- Burnish all score lines for crisp folds.
- With the 6” side horizontal, cut small notches on the 1½” flap at each vertical score line.
- Add Tear & Tape to the ½” tab and adhere to form a rectangular sleeve.
- Fold the bottom flap up and adhere closed with Tear & Tape.
- Insert your Hershey bar so the silver wrapper peeks out about 1”.
Decorating the Front
Designer Series Paper: 2” × 5¼”
Gold Foil Mat (optional): 2⅛” × 5⅜”
💡 Creative Tip:
Make a batch of these ahead of time — they’re great for class treats, coworkers, neighbors, or just to sneak into your family’s stockings. Once you make one, you’ll want to make a dozen more!
